I handcode this site (and others) when necessary. I use Macromedia Dreamweaver 2004 (and not some notepad sort of program) in order to utilize some of its practical functions.

Image editing is something I rarely do, but I use Macromedia Fireworks MX 2004 when I'm at it. When I am designing a favicon, I use IrfanView to convert .png files to .ico - which is something Fireworks MX 2004 cannot do.

I use SmartFTP to upload my files.

Verdana fonts are used throughout the pages.

Despite the dominant view among webmasters, I am not a Firefox fan - because, unfortunately, many sites are designed just for IE without taking the web standards into consideration, and I don't like having to switch browsers when I am browsing the internet. I use Maxthon, an enhanced version of IE.

The site is coded XHTML 1.0 Transitional. Cascading style sheets are used for all layout and formatting. PHP scripts are used at the static pages - outside of the CMS.

I use either a Sony DSC-W7 or a Sony DSLR-A100K digital camera, but do not upload any of them to flickr!

This site is best viewed with Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari - with a screen resolution of 1024x720 or higher.
